Travel Pal is a mobile app designed to help you organize, plan, and enhance your travel experiences. From logging trip details and managing expenses to sharing travel media and discovering new destinations, Travel Pal offers a wide range of features to make travel planning and documentation easier.
To create an account, simply download the Travel Pal app from the [Google Play Store] or [App Store]. You can sign up using your email or log in with your Google account for a faster experience. Once your account is created, you can start logging your trips, uploading media, and accessing other app features.
Yes! Travel Pal is free to download and use. Most of the features are available at no cost. However, we may offer premium features or services in the future, and you will be notified if any in-app purchases become available.
Travel Pal allows you to store a variety of travel-related information, including:
Travel Pal offers a built-in expense tracker that allows you to log and categorize your trip-related expenses. Simply go to your trip details and click on the Expense tab to add your expenses, input your budget, and view your spending summaries. You can also categorize expenses by type (e.g., transportation, accommodation, food) to keep track of where your money is going.
Certain features of Travel Pal, such as viewing your stored trip information and documents, can be accessed offline. However, features that rely on an internet connection (such as location-based services, real-time currency conversion, and syncing media) will not be available without a connection. It’s recommended to sync your trip data before going offline.
Travel Pal’s currency converter allows you to convert between various global currencies based on real-time exchange rates. You can access the converter directly from the app’s main menu or from within your trip’s expense manager. Simply select the currencies you want to convert between, enter the amount, and the app will display the converted value using up-to-date exchange rates.
Travel Pal uses your location data to provide location-based services such as finding nearby attractions, displaying your current location during a trip, and logging your travel routes. Location services are optional and can be enabled or disabled in your device settings. We only use your location data for features that enhance your travel experience, and it is never shared with third parties without your consent.
Yes, we take your privacy and data security seriously. Travel Pal uses encryption and secure storage protocols to protect your personal information and travel data. You can read more about how we protect your data in our Privacy Policy. Additionally, you can manage your data, including updating or deleting your account information, within the app.
Yes, Travel Pal allows you to share your trips with other users or via social media. You can share details of your trips, including photos, locations, and highlights, directly through the app. Simply navigate to the Share option within your trip details to start sharing your travel experiences with friends, family, or other users. We are also working on expanding our social feed features to allow you to interact with other travelers.
To upload photos and videos:
When you delete a trip in Travel Pal, all the associated information, including documents, media, and expenses, will be permanently deleted from your account. Please make sure to back up any important information before deleting a trip, as this action is irreversible.
Yes, Travel Pal offers customizable user profiles. You can update your profile picture, display name, and travel preferences directly from the Profile section of the app. Additionally, Travel Pal features badges and achievements, which allow you to showcase your travel milestones on your profile.
Badges and achievements in Travel Pal are part of our gamified experience to make travel planning more fun and engaging. You can earn badges for visiting new destinations, exploring unique places, and completing certain activities within the app. Your badges will be displayed on your profile to show off your travel accomplishments.
If you experience any issues with Travel Pal, please reach out to our support team at support@travel-pal.io. You can also check for app updates to ensure you are using the latest version, as updates may fix bugs and improve performance.
To reset your password, click on the Forgot Password link on the login screen and follow the instructions to receive a password reset email. If you are unable to recover your account, please contact us at support@travel-pal.io, and we will assist you with account recovery.
Currently, there is no limit to the number of trips you can log on Travel Pal. You are free to store as many trip entries, media files, and documents as needed, depending on your device's storage capacity.
Yes! Travel Pal offers a Trending Destinations feature, which showcases popular travel destinations based on global trends and user preferences. This feature is updated regularly to help you find new places to explore.
If you wish to delete your Travel Pal account, navigate to the Account Settings within the app, where you will find the option to delete your account. Please note that this action is permanent, and all your data, including trips, media, and personal information, will be permanently deleted.
At the moment, Travel Pal allows for local storage on your device, but we are working on future enhancements that will offer cloud-based backups and synchronization. Stay tuned for updates on this feature.

At Travel Pal, we understand that you may want to delete your account for various reasons. You have two options to request the permanent deletion of your account:

Once your account is deleted, the action is irreversible, and all your data will be lost permanently. If you change your mind before receiving a confirmation of the deletion, please contact us as soon as possible at admin@travel-pal.io, and we will do our best to halt the process.
We take user privacy and data handling seriously at Travel Pal. If you would like to request the deletion of some or all of your data while keeping your account active, follow these steps:
